Established 2015 by team of experts with vast experience in systems for managing and monitoring manufacturing process. Majority of our expertise is coming from being members of a large brand-name power and automation corporation, implementing projects for major players in Metals industry. However, the range of our experience is from small to large projects and spawning across Metals, Pulp & Paper, Power Plants and Food & Beverage industries. We have integrated many complex plants, implementing software solutions in-between automation / SCADA / PLC system (Level 1) and ERP / planning systems (Level 4). This kind of software solutions are known by many names in the industry world, but most common ones are – Level 2, MES (Manufacturing Execution System) and Level 3, with the last two names coming from ANSI/ISA-95 standard which describes Manufacturing Operations Management.
Why 8 Sigma?
Manufacturing world is well introduced with the set of techniques and tools for process improvement called – 6 Sigma. The core of the techniques is to Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve and Control execution of the manufacturing process. The name 6 Sigma comes from statistics to evaluate process capability – if the process has six standard deviations between the process mean and the nearest specification limit, very few items produced will fail to meet the targeted specification. We at 8 Sigma believe in delivering software and services which can help manufacturing plants improve the quality of their process.
